Food Allergies

Food allergies are on the rise. It is estimated that at least 5% of infants in their first year of life will be affected by a food allergy. The most common allergens are eggs, cow’s milk, soy bean, peanuts and wheat.

The difference between a food allergy and a food intolerance is that the former is an instant reaction whereas an intolerance is a non-immune response.
